The 2007 IMPULSE Dance Festival will feature guest artists Jon Lehrer, the Artistic Director of LehrerDance formerly with Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago (GJDC) and the Erick Hawkins Dance Company and Mathew Janczewski , Artistic Director of ARENA DANCES and formerly with Shapiro & Smith Dance and JAZZDANCE!
The entire 2-week program includes all classes, 2 tickets to the faculty performance and participation in the student performance. It is recommended that students select which track, intermediate or advanced they plan to participate in. Participation in classes outside of one's designated track is allowed but we advise against participating is ALL classes as this is usually too much for most people.
Students participating in the Performance & Repertory class must be available for the Student Showcase. Also, FULL WEEK participation in either Week 2 only or both weeks is required as this class is essentially the rehearsal time for the Student Showcase.
An aTrek faculty person will work with registered students to design their ideal program. aTrek reserves the right to place students in the appropriate track.
